Role Description
Senior Technical Architect (Florham Park, NJ): Analyze, design and develop complexfeatures using various tools. Apply object-oriented and functional programming principlesand use both client and server-side architectures to design end-to-end app solutionsbased on system requirements and established design patterns. Create new APIs toenable interaction between various applications and develop microservices for networking-related functionalities. Design and build custom app dashboards using test result data fromdatabases and write complex SQL queries to extract required data. Carry out servermanagement tasks on both cloud-based and on-premises environments and contribute tonon-functional development aspects such as performance analysis, load testing, tuning,and security. Resolve coding issues and handle tech challenges. Engage in releaseplanning, application development, unit and integration testing, defect resolution, code rev, solution design, production deployment tasks, and post-deployment support. Monitor andoptimize application performance using micro frontend and microservices architecture,server monitoring, memory leak fixes, unit/code coverage improvements, code cleanup,exception handling, logging enhancements, and database performance tuning. Implementand maintain CI/CD pipelines, develop reports for quantitative/statistical analysis, andcreate workflow processes for hierarchical transaction approvals. Troubleshoot system andprogram issues throughout the development lifecycle to ensure smooth functionality andprepare cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system implementation decisions.Understand and translate complex business requirements into effective technologysolutions, based on the client’s architectural guidelines. Analyze and provide solutions forbusiness challenges. Communicate and collaborate with teams to contribute tech inputtoward solution design for software development initiatives. Participate in business andfunctional requirements gathering sessions, assess evolving business needs, andrecommend customized solution designs based on current system configurations andoperational methods. Evaluate the impact of new business requirements introducedthrough technology solutions. Monitor business trends and recommend potential system orsoftware upgrades that align with business goals. Create and document user stories basedon gathered requirements to support development and delivery processes. Contribute toknowledge sharing by preparing tech document, assisting with solution implementation,and supporting issue resolution throughout the software development lifecycle. Work oninterfaces, functional components, data models, conversion and migration strategies,object mapping, tech solution design, and various process flow designs, along withperforming end-to-end testing and handling complex development tasks. Design anddevelop automated solutions for system testing, monitoring, SonarQube scans, andvulnerability checks in committed code changes. Implement alert mechanisms forapplication or system downtime. Collaborate with the Validation and QA team to reviewand finalize test case document. Prepare test plans and perform unit testing and systemtesting of implementations across multiple environments before deployment to production.
Oversee team and process management to ensure alignment with client expectations andestablished methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to carry out initialsetup activities necessary for the successful deployment of new requirements into theproduction environment. Participate in daily scheduled SCRUM status calls with peerdevelopers and the Validation and QA team to provide updates on current developmentprogress and share ballpark estimates. Engage in ongoing discussions with businessstakeholders to communicate details about upcoming functional changes being introducedthrough development activities. Ensure security patch installations as well as processing ofstagnated data is performed on regular intervals to maintain overall health of theapplication. Monitor key system parameters taking necessary actions to resolve anydetected issues. Analyze the efficiency of existing process flows and propose improvementplans, evaluate tech feasibility, and estimate effort required for deploying futureintegrations. Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code is deployed toproduction.
